About Me
Hello! Glad you've stumbled across my page today!
My name is Isabelle, and I'm an interior designer. I currently live in Kennesaw and plan to attend Kennesaw State University in the fall of 2025. My upcoming goals are to get either a tech job at a commercial interior design company or to be a general designer for a residential firm, though I'm quite flexible on these desires. My mission is to create spaces for people that truly feel like theirs; whether it be an office, a bedroom, a living room, or a reception area, I want to make things that combine both sleek professionalism and a touch of the client's personality. I've worked as an intern under Carolyn Maselli at KJ Luxury Homes; through that experience, I got a glimpse of the client side of things and how fast paced this world can be (how a client's ideals can switch on a dime).
My core strengths, as both a person and a designer, are my strong will, my writing ability, and my leadership capability. I've found I can be both the one who runs a project and the person who steps back to allow other people take the lead when necessary. I'm skilled in the tech side of things but can also put together a mood board for a project that's easy on the eyes. Previous project partners have described me as a fast worker who puts out excellent products because I've always approached my work as something to be done well and to be done well before the deadline. Thankfully, my parents raised me to be early to everything, whether it be work, projects, or even that family gathering you really don't want to go to, so I'm dependable.
When I'm not working or busy with school, you can typically find me sitting on my porch with a good book in hand or playing tennis with my buddies. More recently, I've indulged in the art of cooking, though calling me "good" would be a whisper on a prayer.
Don't be a stranger—leave something of yours so we can connect! I'd love to hear from ya. :)

Education
FALL 2023-SPRING 2025
Interior Designer
Chattahoochee Technical College
Going into college as a dual enrollment student was scary at first, but I soon learned the people who attended alongside me didn't care if I was younger than them, and my professors treated all students the same, regardless of age. It is to Mrs. Burton and Mrs. Kimmons that I attribute all the skills I have now, as they made the experience realistic in how heavy the workload will be and paced it excellently as my education progressed. I'm proud to say I can confidently work with multiple programs that are commonly used in the interior design field, including SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD, and I can go from the schematic phase to the final phase with ease. Doing school and work full time was a challenge, but I persevered through it and have come out the other side a stronger worker.
FALL 2020-SPRING 2024
High School Diploma
Creekview High School
High school was a challenge, as everyone will tell you. I, thankfully, was eligible to fast-track through high school, because of my excellent grades, and dual enroll full time my senior year. With encouragement from my family and friends (and a few teachers), I graduated with honors and am a part of the NSHSS (National Society of High School Scholars). I reflect on these years as a reminder of why I am who I am today, and how thankful I am to have always had a support system around me that encouraged me to be a hard worker and put my education first.
